These private sessions are designed around your individual goals. Perhaps you'd like to learn how to use a sewing machine, make your own clothes, tackle a particular project, learn alterations, insert zips, or simply build your confidence. Whatever you'd like to achieve, your session will be tailored to your needs. With expert guidance throughout, you'll benefit from one-to-one support, allowing you to learn more effectively and ask as many questions as you need in a relaxed, encouraging environment. No rushing, no pressure - just dedicated time to learn, create and develop your sewing skills. Who are these sessions for? - Complete beginners - Those returning to sewing after a break - Sewists looking to improve specific skills - Anyone wanting help with a particular project - Individuals who prefer personalised tuition Session options 3-hour private session, £200 Perfect for learning the basics of sewing, gaining confidence on a sewing machine, or completing a smaller project. 6-hour private session, £350 Ideal for more in-depth learning, garment-making projects, or developing multiple sewing skills in a single session. What's included? - Personal tuition from an experienced sewing tutor - Tailored lesson plan based on your goals - Use of sewing machines and equipment - Tea, coffee and soft drinks - A relaxed and supportive learning environment What to bring You're welcome to bring along a project you'd like help with. If you're unsure what you'd like to learn, we can discuss this together before your session and create a plan that works for you. Booking your session There are no set dates for 1-to-1 tuition. Sessions are arranged individually to suit your availability. Once you've made contact, we'll discuss your sewing goals and find a suitable date and time for your session. Location and accessibility 1-to-1 sessions are held either at my home studio (Bletchley) or at Furtho Manor Farm, (MK19 6NR). The location will be agreed when booking and will depend on available dates as well as any accessibility requirements, ensuring the best possible experience for your session.
