CURRENT WORKSHOP DATES * SUNDAY 27th SEPTEMBER 9AM - 12PM Embrace the cosy season and bring a little autumn magic into your home with this relaxed and creative sewing workshop. During the session, you’ll create your very own beautiful autumnal garland, featuring a mix of fabric leaves and cute pumpkins. You’ll learn how to sew and assemble each element before bringing them together to create a decorative garland that’s perfect for hanging across a mantelpiece, shelf, window or doorway. Whether you're completely new to sewing or already have some experience, this workshop is designed to be relaxed, friendly and enjoyable. You’ll learn how to: * Cut and prepare fabric pieces * Use a sewing machine with confidence * Sew simple shapes and curves * Turn and finish fabric pieces neatly * Create and assemble fabric leaves and pumpkins * Bring individual pieces together to create a finished garland Who is this workshop for? - Perfect for all skill levels - Anyone who loves autumn and seasonal home décor - Anyone looking to learn a new creative skill - Perfect for a relaxed afternoon of sewing and crafting - Adults and (under 16’s will need to book onto the course with a paying adult). What's included? - Personal guidance from an experienced sewing tutor - Sewing machine and all equipment provided - All fabrics and materials needed to make your garland - Tea, coffee and soft drinks - A relaxed and friendly sewing environment What to bring - Just yourself! Everything you need to create your autumnal garland will be provided. (If you want to bring your own style or have a fully upcycled project, you are welcome to bring your own fabric, otherwise this is provided).
