CURRENT WORKSHOP DATES * SUNDAY 14TH DECEMBER 9AM - 12PM Love Christmas? Love crafting? This festive workshop is perfect for creative kids who’d like to make something special this season! In this fun and friendly class, children will learn how to sew their very own Christmas stocking, perfect for hanging by the fireplace or gifting to someone they love. No sewing experience? No problem! Each child will be guided step-by-step and shown how to safely use a sewing machine to bring their stocking to life. They’ll learn how to: * Cut and pin their fabric pieces * Sew on a machine with guidance and supervision This workshop is designed to be fun, festive, completely beginner-friendly and is the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit while learning a creative new skill. Who can join? * Children aged 8–14 years * Adults must stay and support their child during the session (one adult per booking). * If you’d like to sew your own stocking alongside your child, you’ll need to book an additional space. No previous sewing experience is needed. What’s included? - expert guidance from an experienced sewing instructor - all materials and tools (fabric, thread, needles etc.) - tea, coffee and soft drinks - mince pies. What do you need to bring? Just yourself! However, if you’d like your stocking to match your home decor, feel free to bring your own fabric. Location and accessibility Our workshops take place at Furtho Manor Farm, Milton Keynes (MK19 6NR), a beautiful, modern space with peaceful views of the countryside. Easy to reach: Just 13 minutes from Milton Keynes city centre and 23 minutes from Northampton. Free parking right outside the workshop space. Fully accessible: Ground floor venue with no stairs and a disabled bathroom.
