CURRENT WORKSHOP DATES * SATURDAY 14TH NOVEMBER 9.30AM - 10.45AM * SATURDAY 14TH NOVEMBER 11.15AM - 12.30PM (Children's session) Never used a sewing machine? No problem! Add a little handmade magic to your Christmas with this fun and festive sewing workshop! Join me for a relaxed sewing session where you’ll learn how to make your own scrunchies using beautiful Christmas fabrics. Whether you choose traditional festive prints, pretty patterns or something a little more playful, you can create scrunchies that are completely your own. You don’t need any sewing experience to join in. I’ll guide you through each step, showing you how to sew your scrunchie and insert the elastic to create a lovely finished accessory. You’ll learn new sewing skills in a friendly, supportive environment, with plenty of time to enjoy the process. Scrunchies make lovely little handmade gifts, stocking fillers or festive accessories to wear throughout the Christmas season. You could even make a few to give to friends and family! Everything is provided, including Christmas fabrics, sewing machines, tools and equipment, so you can simply arrive, get comfortable and enjoy some creative time for yourself. Tea, coffee, soft drinks & mince pies are also included. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Furtho Manor Farm, this is a lovely opportunity to slow down, get into the Christmas spirit and make something special by hand. Perfect for complete beginners and anyone who fancies a little festive sewing fun! Who can join? - Children aged 8–14 years - All children MUST be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the class (one adult per booking) - Perfect for beginners and those who’ve never used a sewing machine before. What to bring Just yourself and your Christmas spirit! Everything you need to create your scrunchie will be provided. Location & Accessibility Hosted at Furtho Manor Farm, Milton Keynes MK19 6NR. A beautiful, modern space with peaceful countryside views. - 13 minutes from Milton Keynes city centre - 23 minutes from Northampton - Complimentary parking directly outside - Ground-floor venue with full accessibility and a disabled bathroom
Cancellation Policy
Child Attendance Policy * All children attending a workshop must be accompanied by one responsible adult at all times. * Only one adult per child is permitted to attend the session. Additional adults are not able to stay in the workshop. * Children may not be dropped off or left unattended under any circumstances. * If a child arrives without an accompanying adult, or if an adult attempts to leave the child at the session, the child will not be able to take part in the workshop and no refund will be given. This policy is in place to ensure the safety of all participants and the smooth running of the workshop. Due to our small class sizes, all bookings are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule you’ll need to let us know at least two weeks in advance. We’ll do our best to fit you into another session but this isn’t guaranteed.
