The Sewing Escape takes place once a month CURRENT WORKSHOP DATES - * SUNDAY 4th OCTOBER - 1 PM - 4.30PM * SATURDAY 31st OCTOBER - 1 PM - 4.30PM (November session) * SATURDAY 5th DECEMBER - 1 PM - 4.30PM * SUNDAY 10th JANUARY - 1 PM - 4.30PM Sometimes you just need a few hours to yourself to do something you love. The Sewing Escape is a relaxed sewing session at beautiful Furtho Manor Farm, where everything is set up and ready for you when you arrive. No dragging your sewing machine out, no setting up your table, and no clearing everything away afterwards, just bring the project you’ve been meaning to finish and enjoy some uninterrupted sewing time. Whether you have an unfinished garment, a project that’s been sitting in a cupboard for months, or simply fancy spending a few hours sewing in a lovely setting, this is your time to make it happen. You’ll have your own sewing space, sewing machine and access to all the equipment you need, along with a few hours away from the usual distractions of home. There’s also tea, coffee and soft drinks to enjoy while you sew. You’ll be sewing alongside a small group of other sewing enthusiasts, so there’s the opportunity to chat and share ideas, but there’s absolutely no pressure to socialise, you can simply settle in and enjoy your own project. Bring your own project and fabric, and I’ll take care of the rest. What do you need to bring? - Project specific equipment (fabric, patterns, threads, etc.) - Sewing machines are all set up and ready to go but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
